Guess what, while we're all writing these articles, we're each creating a very nice computer home based business for ourselves in the process. It's a logical progression of doing keyword research and using specifics in our articles.

But did you ever set out on a mission to start a computer home based business or did you intend to be a writer? Hey don't complain, you're doing BOTH.

And trust me, starting mine was a complete chore. Why? Because I most definitely had CYBERPHOBIA before I ever got started. (Don't worry, that just what it sounds like, a fear of computers or the fear of working ON computers. I had both.)

With a rich history of having to have worked on computers my entire adult life, you'd think that I'd have been one of the last people to have that affliction. Wrong. Like many others seizing up when the laptop swung on by became the norm. Fearing the ENTER key was a way of existing!

Existing entirely online now, that has changed, largely by discovering that there was little to fear. Now I love my little computer. I even have one of those fancy blowers so crumbs don't get in between the 'g' and the 'h' keys. Life is good.

Here's how you can IMMEDIATELY benefit from my suddenly gained love of all things computer...

Start writing articles as soon as you can. Sign up at some of the best article directories and get started without thinking too much about the whys just yet. See for YOURSELF that it works. Experience what I have already. Once you see the results ig goes from getting a fish for dinner to learning HOW to fish. I'm very serious about that. And once you turn THAT corner, everything falls into place. Including your financial outlook.

Writing articles, I'm happily convinced, is the BEST computer home business FOR ME. Now I want you to see for yourself it it is as well FOR YOU.

Good Luck.

Article Marketing on the Internet is a whole different story because of the way your articles reach humans who have an interest in them. Article Marketing will help you increase your link popularity, search engine positioning for your keywords and phrases, and it helps you reach more potential customers for your products or services.

This 8 point guide will help you succeed in your article marketing. I gaurantee it! These tactics work and if you use them, your articles will send you in the traffic you want and the profits your desire.

The 8 Point Guide To Successful Article Marketing

  1. Writing your keyword in the first 3 words of your title will increase your articles page ranking. The sooner you get your keyword said in your article title, the better. If you were to type in any keyword into any search engine, chances are, all the first page matches' first 3 words contain the keyword that you typed in.
  2. Writing an endless amount of articles is the best way to promote your website or your project. Many article marketers think that it's a waste of time, but it's not. If you were to go to ezinearticles website and type in article marketing, it's dominated by an author who has created more than 200 articles on article marketing. The search engines are just filled with his work.
  3. Using the same set of keywords in your article will improve your chances on getting onto the first page of google. By using the same keywords, you begin to dominate those keywords with your articles.
  4. Putting numbers into your articles tite can get you more article clicks. When readers see a number in any search results, they think that the information inside has fast giving information. Which articles with numbers usually do.
  5. Writing unique articles gets you noticed on search engines, more than duplicated content. Duplicated content is not indexed in search engines. Although it can be indexed if it get's more links than the original content, it is highly not recommended.
  6. Grammatical errors can destroy your articles and your reputation. Grammatical errors count for a lot. Even one can make any reader click out. You'll be losing a hungdred dollars worth of traffic!
  7. Your resource box should be used efficiently and effectively. It should be at the most, 10% of your total pragraph. Your resource box should have a catch and a link to your website. Just having a button that says click here won't be enough. You need to give your readers a reason to click on your link.
  8. value in your content should be visible and well written. Nothing loses you traffic more than a reader that spent their time reading an article that did not help them out whatsoever.
This 8 point guide will increase your chances in getting onto the first page of google, and will get you that high ranked spot that you want. Just follow this guideline and you'll do great!

E-zine advertising is perhaps one of the most underused forms of promotion. It is a good idea to do your homework, before launching your viral marketing campaign. Article writing and publishing has become the latest buzz in the internet website marketing world. The name of the game as far as Internet marketing

Once your site is in place you are faced with several challenges that are going to affect not only how long your business lasts, but also how effectively you will be able to promote and market your product or service to a broad, narrow or specific audience.

The web today is a lot like popular competitions. The owners love their widgets, they dress them up, enhance their skill for the talent competition and travel all over to make sure that their widget is in the running for a really big prize. The key in this phase, probably the phase you are now in, is that it begins with tremendous passion for your product or service. You know what you are selling intimately. You either have been doing it for someone else for years, been working on the idea of starting something that will allow you to make your own hours, or want to share something great. But, what happens when your passion is actually out there and you haven't got a resource bank to put power it.

Think of a sail boat. They are so beautiful. You always see pictures of these beautiful boats and smiling people with a happy guy at the helm. If you love the sun, water, adventure, this is a wonderful picture and makes you really want to be there. But, what happens when there's no wind? Unless sitting in the middle of the ocean sharing the last can of beans is your plan (which we know isn't), you're going to need some gas in your engine to cruise into a port until the wind comes up. So let's talk about the first two steps in making sure you always have some gas.

Product and Service Growth List

You already know that your website is more than loving your product or service and knowing that it will be beneficial to others, or posting some articles about your product on your website, using the marketing features once and then waiting for the multitudes to arrive. The web is a constantly evolving medium so marketing and maintenance must be a continual evolving effort for you to stay alive in this market. If your goal is to have a constant flow of traffic that includes both new and return customers then posting information or updates at unscheduled intervals or not maintaining your site is not going to result in a thriving business. Without a lot of time, effort and some excellent resources to bounce ideas around with, enhance your marketing strategy and provide you with honest feed back, you're going to be in a leaky boat really fast. So first, take a moment to make a growth list.

Your growth list is what you currently have in place-Website, basic marketing package, sort of a contact list and anything else that you know is going to need to be updated on a regular basis, the things that will never go away. Next, list the resources you currently have. This would include any packages or pieces of packages that you have only tried once or not used at all.

The next column of your growth list will be "need but don't have." These are those things (skills, products, software) that you don't have but need. Do you know every detail about your product or service but can't write or present it in a way that excites others? If you have a product, is it one that can be easily shared with others? Does your full-time job keep you from having the time to write articles, create ezines or newsletters, or cultivate and grow your market? In the web culture marketing is one of the biggest factors in growing your business effectively.

Once completed, keep your list in a safe place. Review your list often and add to it whenever you have an idea or see something that you might like to explore later. Don't delete anything. Your growth list is a keystone in creating and growing your marketing strategy.

Marketing Resource List

You want to create a list of the resources that you currently have on hand. This list includes people you know who will provide totally honest and unbiased opinions, mentors and tools that you have (even if you have never used them). Be sure to include contact or purchase information for your resources. As your business grows you will continue adding to this list. I have resource books that I morphed from address books purchased from my local market. This list will grow at an astonishing rate if you stick to your action plan.

Resources come in many forms. When I find an excellent book, article or piece of software or happen upon a great website I always put the title, author and other information in my resource book as well as the reason that I'm putting it there. This is especially important for the long term since you will forget in a year or two why you stuck a particular name, book or site on your list and if you haven't made a little note about it's purpose you may have to re-invent the wheel to get information that you already have.

Don't be afraid to contact authors or website owners when you want more information or have a question. Most of us love to write, chat and share information. The few out there who are just trying to solicit customers are pretty easy to spot and if you happen to wind up on an email list you really don't want to be on, you can always block it. For the most part though, when I contact someone with a question they are more than happy to answer the question. Usually I also get some great information that I didn't know I needed and in some cases I make a really good e-friend. Again, be sure to put these in your resource book as well as why you contacted them and what you learned. (You've probably figured out that I have several resource books).

There are many steps to take in growing your new business but the two items discussed above are by far the most important to ensure that you have a successful and growing internet business.

What is the bum marketing method? It is simply article marketing and affiliate marketing combined. Travis Sago, the inventor of this name made a lot of noise last year, and many people are confused.

I will answer to several questions to help beginners trying to earn a few bucks online. But first, you need to understand that the bum marketing method is a short term strategy.

First, you need to write and submit articles to the top article directories. These are ezinearticles, goarticles and searchwarp.

I don't have a lot of success with searchwarp, and in fact I stopped submitting articles there.

But there is a little problem with this method. To earn money, you need to practice direct linking. This means that you link directly to the merchant's website.

While you can make anywhere between a few hundreds and a few thousands dollars per month with this method, I don't recommend that you send visitors directly to the merchant. Send them to your own landing page instead because in this case, you are in control of your traffic.

I do not say that direct linking doesn't work, but a landing page is the best way to do it.

Another mistake made by bum marketers is that they try to sprinkle their associate links inside the article. This is really annoying for article owners, and most of them won't even bother publishing your articles.

Another benefit of linking to your own webpage is that search engines will notice the surge in inbound links and your website will have higher rankings in the search engines.

What should you have on your landing page?

It is good to have an opt-in form to capture your visitors email addresses. Then, you will redirect them to the affiliate page with your autoresponder series. It's a proven fact that most of the buyers won't do it at the first visit and you need to expose the offer to your reader several times for maximum conversion.

Article writing and publishing has become the latest buzz in the internet website marketing world. The name of the game as far as Internet marketing

Providing quality content to your readers is golden and article marketing has been a proven marketing method many times over.

Writing informative articles is not the only way that article marketing will help your business:

1. Free Content

As for me I blog a lot, run several sites and coming up with posts seems impossible some days.

That's when I start to research articles that closely match my sites niche and use them as blog posts.

Email the author of the article and let them know you used their content including a link directly to their article.

2. Newsletters

Use articles to send out in newsletters.

Again I sometimes come up short with ideas for newsletters or would rather delegate the writing to someone else.

Keep your readers engaged by sending out regular newsletters with quality information and articles.

3. Start Your Own Article Directory

There are several ways that you can start your own article directory and one kickback is to make money from advertisements.

If you like your site more personalized you can hire a web designer to create one for you if you don't know how to already.

Search for free software or customizable templates that are actual article directory that you can create.

You can do what I do because I'm big on blogging so I made a mini directory as a part of one of my marketing blogs: Urban Writ

4. Ad Copy

An attention getting article can be used in web or print advertising. Post the article as a teaser and let readers know that they can find 'more information like this' at your website.

5. E-Zines

Search for articles that contain valuable content that your readers can appreciate. Instead of contacting the author to offer a guest spot use a series of their articles over a period of time.

Hidden Perks

Other benefits of using pre-written articles is the use of key phrases. A well written article may rank high for search engines and bring your web site to front page.

Sending the authors some traffic for work they have already done may get you some return traffic from their site.

Readers have the opportunity to deviate from your site by clicking the links in the resource box of the article. Keep in mind the time saved writing can be used to build your business instead.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

The success or failure of your list building business depends upon your ability to generate a sizable quantity of leads everyday to your business. You see, leads do get stale after a while! You'd want a steady flow of fresh leads to keep your income levels up there. Here are 2 simple techniques to explode your subscriber list without any additional effort from the traffic you are generating:

#1: Tell-A Friend Scripts

Tell-a-friend scripts allow your subscribers to tell their friends about your free lead generation offer. What smart marketers do is that they incentivize it by giving added bonuses to their subscribers when they refer a certain number of people, say 3 or 5 people. This allows you to boost your subscriber list without lifting a finger! Do take note though, autoresponder services like Aweber do not allow tell-a-friend scripts to be integrated with their autoresponders. A solution is to use your own hosted php autoresponder.

#2: Giveaway Rights

If you offer a free report as your lead subscription "bait", then offer free giveaway rights with the report. This allows your subscribers to give away the report themselves to build their list! This is viral marketing at it's best. You get name recognition for free and your subscribers also have a free report they can use as a lead generator. In your free report, include your URL to your opt-in page so you get subscribers on autopilot!

OK, there you have it, 2 hands-off techniques to generating subscribers with no additional effort or advertising outlay. Go try them out today, you'll be surprised at the results!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

The importance of an efficient marketing plan has been fully recognized. The search for a suitable marketing planer or software has already begun. The concerned resources are in place. The time frames have been worked out; competition analysis is already taking shape. Target identification, product dimensions, campaign managements, communication planning are all in place. But has anything been left out? Well yes, a clear pricing strategy has been side lined. The positive enthusiasm and energy towards succeeding could well end in a situation where lack of careful price management could tie you down.

Price or MRP i.e. Maximum Retail Price or sales price is what you get when you sell a product. This sole factor along with its derivative i.e. corresponding profits determines your survival. Charity is great but mismanagement or lack of planning should not be attributed to the same. At no stage should your long-term expenses soar beyond the firms earning capacity. Whatever language you use but the only means to survive in a business community is by earning or making profits. This undoubted fact obviously implies a diligent look into the pricing strategy while working out the marketing plan.

Pricing and Marketing?? The link between the two terms is quite strong. The price of your offerings decides the level, kind and scope of your marketing initiatives. The prices themselves are however dependent on various factors, the lower end being marked by your cost while the upper end depends upon the competitors offerings and consumers willingness to pay.

Setting up a price acts as an important indicator of the firms marketing objectives. For instance, deciding the prices in consonance with your competitors, referred to as competitive pricing, is included in the overall marketing strategy to curb competition. Similarly, an exceptionally low price in a specific area or segment to capture the bulk of the market share falls under the preview of penetration strategy. A reliable and an economical product calls for less marketing attention while a high end, high priced product meant for a cream section certainly demands a carefully designed marketing plan to back it up.

The correlation among the two firms though not directly visible, is so strong that any decision in a department cannot be isolated from the other. Budgeting, an important component in devising the marketing plan also works on the earnings and eventual profits earned by a firm which in turn depend upon the pricing strategy.

Priding strategy and marketing planning go hand in hand where organizations are concerned. None can be worked out in isolation. A minor change in one implies a corresponding change in the other. It is hence, impossible to ignore the pricing aspect while making a marketing plan and vice versa, which is rightly so. A clear price definition and cost estimation assists in making more practical marketing plans which in turn help achieve the planned profits for a firm.

Article marketing is one of the most effective and inexpensive marketing tools in the internet today. If done correctly, this process can bring you enormous traffic and great online revenue.

Here are the 5 effective ways to excel at article marketing:

1. Know your target market. This is one crucial element in writing your articles as this can help you design your contents to make them more targeted to the needs and wants of your readers. Know their problems, the things that they are passionately interested about, or solutions they are looking for to improve the quality of their lives.

2. Bank on your content. If you want your articles to be read and widely distributed, you must make sure that they are all well-written, content-rich, factual, scannable, interesting to read, written in a conversational tone, and free from grammar and spelling errors. It would also greatly help if they have great, attention-grabbing titles that are guaranteed to help you increase your clickthrough rate.

3. Register on leading publishing sites. There are more than one thousand article submissions sites and article directories in the internet today but not all of them are created equal. While some can give your articles the exposure they need, some are not even indexed by Google. Maximize your time by submitting your articles only to those sites that have huge traffic and great page ranking.

4. Optimize. To ensure that you will be able to connect to your potential clients, incorporate the search terms they are usually using on your content to make it easier for them to find your articles online.

5. Write more. Article marketing is the easiest way to create inbound links for your website. If you want to obtain more links, you can simply multiply the number of your articles.

Article submission software is an important tool in any online marketers toolbox. Anyone with a web presence ie a web site seriously needs to consider article marketing as one of their core website promotion techniques. It does not matter whether you are running a bread and butter business or selling digital products as an affiliate, what you need is consistent traffic. And article submission is an effective means of achieving this goal. Let us take a closer look and study how article submission software makes article submission a breeze and its powerful impact on your online business.

Article submission software accomplishes a few things for you as a marketer or businessman.

1. Article Submission Software Builds Credibility

Firstly, article submission gives you a face and a name online. People who read your articles get to know about your business, area of expertise and your name. In any business, a good name represents trustworthiness and directly influences your readers decision to buy into your sales pitch.

2. Article Submission Software Drives Instant Traffic and Sales

The second thing that happens when you use article submission software is instant traffic to your website. Sometimes it is a matter of minutes after you submit your article that traffic starts streaming in. This does happen as some article submission directories accept articles automatically. It is also so instant that you could clinch your fresh deals. Imagine making a sale immediately after posting an article.

3. Article Submission Software Improves Search Engine Rankings

Another benefit of article submission is in building the link popularity of your website. We all know how gaining more backlinks to our website would boost our search engine rankings. This would result in organic traffic visiting our websites from the search engines. This is another major injection of natural targeted traffic that is hot and ready to buy our products and services or take some form of action on our websites.

4. Article Submission Software Makes Submitting Articles as Easy as ABC

The problem with submitting articles to dozens of article submission directories is the amount of time and article formatting required. Since each directory interface is unique, the articles need to be customized for each site. This is taxing in time and energy. Article submission software nowadays has intuitive features that make the entire submission process as easy as one single click of a button.

5. Article Submission Software Saves Tons of Money While Making More Sales

You may be using an article submission service today and should know that it can be quite costly and financially draining on your business to submit articles. Unless you are able to turn the articles into money machines and make a good return, you are wasting money only. Fortunately, article submission software are able to perform the same if not better functions as submission services for a small fraction of the cost. Buy once and thats all you have to pay.

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

You have probably heard different Internet marketers use the words "sales funnel." Do you know what that means?

A sales funnel really involves all the things you need to do to make a sale before the customer clicks that link to buy, and all the things that happen afterward. But where should a person be when clicking that first link? Opting in to your list! Never send someone to your sales letter before list building.

If your list building page is about signing up for a series of tips or short newsletters, the very next thing your new customer should see is a thank you page, which says, "Thank you for joining my list, you may also find this interesting..." Then, offer them a product that fits you list building theme. "I read this ebook on (inset topic), and I would highly recommend it to you in preparation for the course," for instance. But it can be an ebook, a piece of software, or a report of some kind that you got at ClickBank or MyFirstAffiliateProduct that you will be paid for. This the first way that you can start monetizing your list.

Some of you are wondering, "How do I make that page come up after people opt-in to my list?"

You do it through your autoresponder. Autoresponders allow you to add special links for the verification letter, if you don't want to use their generic response. So, you upload your new thank-you page to your server, either through .FTP or the file manager. After you've done that, add the URL of your new thank-you page into your autoresponder. Then, the HTML code you add to the squeeze page for your opt-in box tells the autoresponder what to do--to send people to your offer, after they opt-in.

You do the same type of thing when you have a product of your own. Instead of people being led to a "thank you for joining my list" page, they'll be led directly to your sales page for your product because this time you've entered your sales page URL into your autoresponder. But what happens when they not only join your list, but buy your product?

Your new buyer goes first to your payment processor, and unless your autoresponder and payment processor are the same, you'll add the link to a "Thank you for buying my product, and you may also be interested in this..." into your payment processor for a back end sale. Does that make sense?

It all comes down to doing things the right way:

Create a list building squeeze page and get people to opt-in to your list

When someone joins your newsletter, send them to a "thank you for joining my list" page with an offer.

When someone signs up and you have a product of your own, send them to the sales page, then to the "Thank you for buying my product, and you might like this too" page for the back-end product.

Try to keep your list of buyers in a group of their own, too. They're your best customers, ones that will bring repeat sales.

Don't wait! Start list building today.

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

Have you ever heard about stories on those online entrepreneurs who hit it big after getting a #1 rank in several popular search engines? You must be wondering what it would take for you to achieve that #1 spot in the search engine result pages (SERPs). Search Engine Optimization, or commonly known as SEO plays an important role to ensure that your business gets the best possible search engine ranking. This will eventually leads to increased sales for your online company.

So, what is exactly Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Search engine optimization is the process of amending the content and the meta-information (i.e. Meta-information includes certain HTML tags such as title, heading, emphasized text, keyword and description meta-tags, as well as the internal [links between pages on the same site] and external [links between pages on different sites] link structure of a web site). This is to improve the search engine ranking of the page.

What will be the sales impact if my website is being listed as one of the High Search Engine Rank? Do you know that Internet market research estimates that between 70% and 90% of online shoppers use search engines to find a specific product or service. As such, you can see how effective search engine optimization can boost your revenues.

There are a total of three metrics to forecast online sales. They are the average ticket, the conversion rate, and the amount of web site traffic. Lets me explain each of the metrics to you. The average ticket is the amount of money spent by a customer on a typical transaction. Typically, bookstores have low average tickets while on the other hand computer and electronics stores have high average tickets.

Web Site traffic is measured by the number of site visitors. It is normally expressed as the total number of page views per month.

Conversion rate is expressed as a percentage and was calculated through the number of sales divided by the number of page.

As such, achieving a high search engine rank will definitely increase the number of page views, and could therefore increase sales. Bear in mind that a high search engine rank will produce a measurable increase in traffic only if there is significant marketplace interest in your product / service. Note that search engine optimization is not going to help to produce measurable results if there is very little demand on your product or service. Lets us look into this way, the #1 spot in search engine result pages is not particularly impressive if only two people search for your product or service each month.

What is the role of keywords being used in the Search Engine Optimization?

Keywords are words or phrases users provide to search engines to locate information. Search engines examine page content to determine whether a specific page is relevant for a particular search word or phrase. Thus, effective keyword selection is one of the keystones of search engine optimization.

Each keyword is characterized by supply and demand. Supply refers to the number of search engine result pages and demand refers to the number of searches.

The easiest way to improve search engine rank is to select keywords that have favorable supply-demand characteristics; that is, ones with a relatively high demand and a relatively low supply. It is much more difficult to improve the search engine position of a page on a high supply, competitive keyword.

Good keywords should be relevant to your product line and your line of business. For example, a #1 rank for health supplement product is worthless if you sell Health equipment. A potential customer will find your page, quickly discover that you don't sell any Health supplement product, and promptly go elsewhere. In effect, the conversion rate for irrelevant search engine hits is very close to zero.

Choosing a set of target keywords is the first step in search engine optimization. The second step is using them in the body, title, headings, and meta-tags of a page.

Do not overdo it by including target keywords in the text of the page. The keywords should fit smoothly into the surrounding text. Search engines are smart enough to detect excessive keyword density, or too many keywords stuffed into very little supporting text. It will definitely reduce your page ranking accordingly.

The title tag should contain information that describes the page. Unless you operate a multi-national corporation that is already a household name, your company's name should not be a descriptive title. Most search engines use the title tag as the first line of your listing in the search engine result pages.

Incorporate keywords into the headings on the page, as well as into emphasized sections (bold or large text). Even though search engines are de-emphasizing descriptive meta-tags, include keywords in them nevertheless. The description meta-tag should have an accurate description of your page, and the keywords meta-tag should contain a set of keywords (separated by commas) that list key concepts mentioned on the page.

E-zine advertising is perhaps one of the most underused forms of promotion. It is a good idea to do your homework, before launching your viral marketing campaign. Article writing and publishing has become the latest buzz in the internet website marketing world. The name of the game as far as Internet marketing

Website Traffic is a common denominator found in all successful online businesses. Without it, your site hardly stands a chance of generating any income. While there are many different theories and techniques used, it is worth your time and effort to consider these low cost methods to generate traffic to your website.

Link Exchange

Simply, it is the exchange of Links by webmasters. You put someone else's site Link at your website and in return they put a Link back to your site from their website. Links have now been exchanged, hence Link Exchange. A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. The down side of this is that now your competitor's Links are distracting your potential visitors away to other sites before they have fully explored your site.

Nowadays, it has become a common practice to link through other forms of internet media such as Social Networks, Blogs, and Ezines. While this can produce highly targeted readership, the readers are usually your competitors so you may not get as many potential customers as you would a boost in your search engine rankings and credibility. However, the better your ranking in the search engines, the better your chances of generating targeted traffic to your website.

Traffic Exchange

Traffic Exchange Sites are where you can get views of your site in exchange for viewing other sites. There are generally 2 types of Traffic Exchanges, auto and manual surfing. Auto surfing requires minimal input as the system automatically reloads the page after a set amount of time. With manual surfing your site actually has a better chance of being seen by your target audience because all page views are at the discretion of the viewer.

Almost all Traffic Exchange programs are Free to join with the option of upgrading at a cost to receive additional benefits. It is a well known practice for Traffic Exchanges to offer credits at a cost. The minimum length of time for viewing a site in order to earn credits can range from 10 to 60 seconds.

Write and Submit Articles

There are many Ezines, publishers, forums, and other mediums on the internet that provide free space for articles to be submitted. Write informative and interesting articles based on your niche market. Give the readers something to take away from the article (knowledge, tips, guidelines) while at the same time, creating an interest to visit your site. There are many freelance/ghost writers that will write for a small fee, but save the money and write the article yourself.

It will boost your self confidence and who knows, you may learn something doing the research. Writing and submitting articles has become an extremely effective way to promote your website and business. The exposure an article receives will increase traffic to your website, establish your credibility as an expert in your field, and help with search engine optimization. Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Promote yourself and your business. Keep in mind, most Article Directories will not allow affiliate links. You will need to use a URL that redirects to the affiliate site.

Create a Newsletter

This may sound a little intimidating at first because of all the content you need to include in a newsletter but in reality, it's not that difficult. Not all the articles you put in your newsletter have to be original content. There are many authors who allow their articles to be used by others as long as you give them credit and leave their resource box intact and untouched. This provides free advertising for them as well. Build a Newsletter and give it away, increase your public exposure, and use it as a tool to create an opt-in list. A good Newsletter will increase your business returns in more ways than one and the cost is basically your time and efforts.

Join Online Communities and Forums

Social Networking and Forums are very popular and Free to join. Share your knowledge, form relationships, build a reputation, gain their trust. Learn from what others have to say and share. Be yourself and NOT a salesperson and you'll be sure to make connections that will help your business grow in one way or another. Most Forums and Communities Do Not allow you to blatantly advertise as they consider it Spam. Links to your website can usually be included in your signature file. Profiles can also contain business as well as personal information.

By utilizing these methods you'll be able to generate traffic to your website without incurring a big out of pocket expense.
